Ten motions relating to the new quarters were carried at this meeting. One of particular interest read "Voted that now, henceforth and for ever more there shall be no smoking on the upper floor of the Masonic apartments Lodge meeting nights." The Secretary used six pages to record all the transactions of this meeting.Feb. 7, 1896
Committee reported they had been given a ten year lease on the 3rd and 4th floors of the new quarters at a rental of $850.00 per annum. The amendment to raise the dues from two to three dollars annually was adopted.
