"Mount Tom Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons met in their Hall, opened on the 1st Degree of Masonry. Present " . . . Then followed the names of the various officers, the receiving of petitions etc. and is fully quoted in the Historical Sketch.

June 7, 1850
Code of By-laws adopted. Candidates elected for each degree.

Dec. 6, 1850
Up to this day under the dispensation $157.00 had been received and $156.86 spent leaving a balance of 14 cents. Request for charter made. Also requested the Holyoke Lodge I.O.O.F., to furnish the lodge with lights as "the suspended lamps this evening went out entirely."
