Rt. Wor. Abraham Davis

Abraham Davis joined Mount Tom in 1900 and served as Master in 1907 and 1908. He was the last Master to serve more than one year. He was a good Master. Energetic and assertive he was forceful in his ways but served the interests of the Lodge well and introduced some unusual customs.

The year after he was Master he organized William Whiting Lodge and was its first Master, serving in 1909-10. In 1911-12 he served as D.D. Grand Master of the 16th District which at that time included both Mount Tom and William Whiting Lodges.
